Tahirah Amatul-Wadud, Esq.
Ms. Tahirah Amatul-Wadud is a trial lawyer practicing primarily in Family Court handling contested custody and financial matters.  Ms. Amatul-Wadud graduated from Elms College in 1998 Cum Laude.  She worked as a paralegal the largest life insurance company in the region and then for the New England power grid operator while attending law school.  In 2005, Ms. Amatul-Wadud graduated from Western New England College School of Law.  She took a year off to focus on work and family before studying for the bar exam. After taking the Massachusetts bar exam February 2006, she was admitted June. She worked for two years at a Western Massachusetts Legal services agency where she represented low income victims of domestic violence in family court.  In January 2009, she opened her own family law practice in Chicopee.
 
Ms. Amatul-Wadud is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as for the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.  Ms. Amatul-Wadud is a trained mediator.  She enjoys attending continuing legal education courses throughout the Commonwealth. Ms. Amatul-Wadud sits on various community boards and has taught classes throughout western Massachusetts on various topics including self-representation in family court.  For fun, attorney Amatul-Wadud enjoys watching her kids play basketball for their high school, CYO and AAU teams.

Maegan Brooks, Esq

Attorney Maegan Brooks has a passion for small business development and the creation of social enterprises.  “Entrepreneurship is the greatest way to achieve financial empowerment, while at the same time providing an economic benefit to the community around the enterprise,” says Attorney Brooks.  “By helping to build businesses, we are creating jobs and cultivating an environment wherein businesses can expand.  In this environment, consumer confidence grows and we can buy closer to home, saving fuel and reducing our carbon footprint.”  Attorney Brooks’ goal is to create successful businesses that stay local and are able to grow from the support of consumers in the region.  In addition to counseling small business clients, Attorney Brooks also works with clients on residential and commercial real estate and estate planning matters.  Born in Northampton, Massachusetts and raised in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Attorney Brooks is dedicated to the development of the western Massachusetts region.  

Jesse Burch, Esq.:  
Jesse Burch is an Attorney with an office in Orange, MA.  He has a general practice with special focus on mediation, family and criminal law.  Mr. Burch received his J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law.  Before turning to the law, Mr. Burch worked for many years with young and mentally disabled sex offenders as a teacher and residential counselor.
