LRAC's Mission:

The Legal Resource and Advocacy Center is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to providing referrals for legal representation to persons whose incomes prevent them from otherwise obtaining legal services, to being an active advocate in the legal and social services systems for underrepresented individuals, and to promoting education about the legal and legislative processes. LRAC is committed to the advancement of social justice, to intentionally recognizing, exposing and dismantling racism in all its forms, to ensuring equal access to legal and social services, and to empowering people to make positive changes in their lives and communities. The work of LRAC is based upon a systemic analysis of discriminatory practices and their individual, institutional and cultural manifestations.
